A Happy return !

Coming back after a hiatus of sorts, well, actually, I've never been busier in the term I was supposed to have had off! What with my taking on mental health advocacy/representation roles on panels working towards an evolving practice in the Southern area of Adelaide, three exhibitions, two for myself & one for the participants of my second term Mindful Photography programs, speaking at the biggest annual Australasian mental health services conference, lots of self-work & trying to keep a personal life afloat...

I'm back for the fourth term of 2018, with new & improved Mindful Photography groups!

This term I am asking that you please pay for the term ahead in full, so that the programs actually meet the cost of transport & that neither the Hackham West Community Centre or myself are out of pocket for this unique grassroots initiative. Considering that I do this voluntarily & that the Hackham West Community Centre have so generously allowed us access to mega-cheap transport, it is already ludicrously cheap to attend! I honestly can't think of another activity where you could get out & do something like this for less than $4 a week!
Booked out !

Focusing upon a range of different photographic techniques, we shall be in the fourth term of 2018 exploring the creativity offered through the control of shutter speeds as is possible when working hand-held &  the use of an aperture to create interesting imagery.

Composition of an interesting image will be covered also, but in ways that allow you to continue seeing & capturing the world in your own unique way. With plenty of variation of subjects on offer, including a couple of extended day time trips, you will have lots of opportunities to play & explore with your photography & mindful experiences in nature.

You wanted decrepitude. I’ve found some gorgeous crumbling wrecks and ruins for you to explore & capture!

I’ll leave this one up to you folks & we shall discuss the decision to be made at our first session for this term.

I’m offering the possibility to explore a surreal beach, resplendent with a cave, which has a climb down & up some wooden stairs to get there…

OR

A unique landscape that is far easier to get to, but does involve a little bit of human 4WD’ing! Nothing too arduous or perilous, but definitely off-road!

You have the power to decide…
